Hi guys! Today I wanted to share with you a fun craft the boys worked on. During our study Nova Scotia we learned that this province is the lobster capital of Canada. To help the boys remember we worked on a lobster craft and lobster cage. To go along with this craft we read Lobster in my pocket, a cute story about a little girl who rescues a lobster from being eaten.

While we waited for the lobsters to dry we assembled the lobster cages and reread the book.
Material needed:
- Cardstock (desired size and color)
- Popsicle sticks
- glue
bottom of the lobster cage. After making this I realized that I purchased the wrong Popsicle sticks, I should have gotten the longer/larger ones.
We allowed all the parts of our lobster cage to dry over night before assembling the whole thing.
Once the cage was assembled we taped our lobster inside the cage.
The lobster cages turned out so cute and it was perfect for decorating our classroom with.
