Hello guys, this is my second weekly wrap up post. This was another week full of fun for me and the boys. Here are some of the things we did.
Geography:
This week we reviewed all the countries we learned about so far.
We also added more animals to our animals around the world wall.
History:
This week we completed chapter 4 (Story of the World).
We made papyrus paper.
Apple mummification experiment

The boys are watching a documentary on Ancient Egypt.
Science:
We completed chapter 2 Apologia Exploring Creation with Astronomy. This chapter focused on the "sun." We learned a lot of new facts about the sun, and did some fun activities. Check out the full post for both lesson 1 and 2.
Layers of the sun with Play-Doh
After learning that the sun is all the colors of the rainbow. We did a fun rainbow sun craft.
Language Arts:
This week both boys completed their reading comprehension books. Now I am on the search for something to replace them.
Both boys are making great progress in their spelling curriculum. We use All about Spelling and I can't say enough good things about this curriculum.
Friday is always our low key day. Where we do fun experiments, complete left over work or just relax and read. This Friday we did a fun density experiment.
All the great books we enjoyed this week.
